APRS Tracker now working!

The APRS Tracker is now working. 
This means that as I’m traveling to remote GRIDS for GRID’xpiditions, you will be able to see my location. Even better will be when I’m operating mobile on 6M you can see my location as well. It is a cool toy to play with.

No Field Day for me again this year.

 

I had hoped to work Field Day this year, but will be riding for Team Type 2 in the Race Across America on FD weekend. Hopefully finishing on June 27th. Perhaps next year.

Renewal is active and I applied for a Ø call.

Yep. FCC is sure faster now then back in 1989 when I got my Novice ticket. (KB7IXN)

Just renewed my license

Woah! Its hard for me to believe that I’ve had this call (N7CZ) for 10 years! I just renewed my license through QRZ’s web site. Guess I’m hanging on to this call for a while longer.  Glad I checked QRZ and noticed it had expired a few days ago.

I am excited to get on with this trip as it is my son’s high school graduation and it will be my first time to get my new car out for a road trip.
